THEMES: Motherhood, survival, trauma, and abuse.
FAVORITE QUOTES: Didn't find anything inspirational enough to note down.
FINAL THOUGHTS AND REVIEW:
Tegan was such a strong woman. She managed to do so much to protect herself and her unborn child while being 8 months pregnant and dealing with a swollen leg. I personally would've given up easily, so it was nice to see her make such strong decisions.
I also felt sad for Polly, who couldn't have a child of her own. That doesn't mean she can take another woman's child though. I loved her relationship with Sadie. The way she fed, bathed, and nurtured an abused child was really sweet.
There was a small twist at the end, but thankfully it had a happy ending.
